The Vietnamese Student Association of Minnesota (VSAM) at the University of Minnesota is one of the university’s longest-standing cultural student organizations, having been established in 1976. VSAM works to preserve and promote Vietnamese culture, history, and traditions while helping students build meaningful connections within both the university and the broader Vietnamese community. Through cultural celebrations, educational programs, mentorship opportunities, and signature events such as Tết Show and Tết Trung Thu, VSAM fosters community, leadership, and cultural pride among students of all backgrounds.
